OK, you asked for it, pictures of me. I take no responsibility for any cracking of your monitor screen!

The first was taken in January 2000 when I was looking quite smart, even if I say so myself! The second was taken in November 2000, to be used as part of my FanFile in the Cambridge United matchday programme, but unfortunately it was not used.

Personal details and some history:

I was born in London (Edgware General if you really want to know, which is now the site of a tesco store!) on 22nd January 1957.

At a very young age my family moved to South Cambridgeshire, and after a few years in other local villages finally settled in Melbourn, where I have lived for pretty well all my life, although not in the same house for all of that time. Boring I know, but there you have it.

I went to school at the Melbourn Primary School, passed the 11+ exam and continued my education at the Cambridge Grammar School for Boys in Cambridge where I somehow managed to pass a few O-levels.

Leaving school at 16, I started work for a company called Metals Research, they made machinery for the semiconductor manufacturing industry. They merged with Cambridge Instruments, where I gained electronics assembly experience. During this time I gained an ONC in Electronics.

In 1977 I got a job at the PATScentre (which stands for PA Technology and Science centre) in Melbourn, where I have worked ever since. More day release allowed me to gain an HNC, then a further year of endorsements. The company has grown over the years, the name has changed to the Cambridge Technology Centre of PA Consulting Group. The part of the company that I work in designs and develops new products in the field of radio communications. I manage a small Laboratory Services group, which includes PCB layout, PCB assembly and component procurement. For more about the company go to www.paconsulting.com

I married for the first time too young, and divorced a few years later. I then married Sandra in 1982 and she has put up with me ever since. We have a daughter, Lauren, born in 1984.

My congratulations for getting this far. You must be really bored, or are using a company internet link! To return to the first page use the "back" button on your browser or click here.
